I like Perl ...

and play with it instead of doing the real work I should...

The time here in Switzerland on the Camel-clock in the corner. You probably don't care about the local time here, but if you want the code, which uses Lincoln D. Stein's GD.pm module, here it is.
and when I find the time, I intend to add more, mainly related to film and video like manipulating time-codes, edit lists, controlling Beta players etc... suggestions welcome. (I actually already use a few such things, so just mail me if you are interested in film and/or video related scripts)
